(NYSE: MWY), a leading interactive entertainment software publisher and developer, received numerous accolades and honors following a successful showing at the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
John Woo Presents Stranglehold, a third person next-generation action game featuring dual-wielding, stunt-laden gunplay in a highly destructible world, was the winner of IGN’s PC E3 2006 “BEST ACTION GAME” award. Stranglehold was also named one of the “Top 5 Xbox 360 Games of the Show” by GamesRadar, one of the “10 Best Games of E3” by GamePro.com, and runner-up for the IGN Xbox 360 E3 2006 “Best Action Game” award. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the final franchise installment on current generation systems, has been announced as a Finalist for the E3 Critics “BEST FIGHTING GAME” award, as well as nominated for “BEST FIGHTING GAME” by 1UP, IGN, GameSpot and GameTrailers.
